It was late in 1939, during a downpour in the busy port city of Saint John, New Brunswick. Before, the port was home to cruise liners and commercial vessels. Now, the sounds of foghorns from battleships and armed boats filled the port. Standing aboard a ship, Canada gazed blankly at the many troops and conscripts bidding farewell to their loved ones before boarding the numerous transport vessels.
"Look at that..."
British Canada would mumble to herself, sighing quietly as the rain dropped on her shoulders and MKII Brodie helmet, although her uniform getting wet was merely a minor inconvenience.
