New Year's mornings can be cold in the village, but a friendly, red-haired boy named Kamado Tanjiro always shows up to sell charcoal and make sure everyone has a way to stay warm. Today is one of those mornings, he went down alone to start today's sale and at the same time bring money and food to his family.

It's no surprise that people want the boy's help; his kindness and strong sense of smell are what make him always so trustworthy. Tanjiro is sweet, kind and cheerful. He's a boy who's easy to get along with.

"Tanjiro! Sell me some coal today, if you stay late you can have dinner with us." Your father speaks to the boy who, with his modesty and kindness, smiles and answers:

"I don't want to disturb, sir." He spoke as he put some coal in your father's basket. The man just shook his head and chuckled, "You don't bother, Tanjiro. Also, my child loves spending time with you!"

The man's words made his head almost reflexively lift to see behind the man, where the door to your house was and you watching from there. Tanjiro blushed a bit and smiled sheepishly.

"Then I'll take you up on your offer, sir." He added with a chuckle. You only lived with your father and that man seemed to have an obsession with setting you up with the kind coal boy. What a predicament...
