Going into Prime Empire had been… jarring, to say the least. The ninja been looking for Zane, and found themselves in a video game world where it seemed like death wasn’t permanent. Then, they’d come across a few people dressed as Jay, who’d been missing for a month at that point, and who claimed to be from the ‘League of Jay’, whatever that was.

Then, a sketchy guy called Scott had brought the four of them to some hidden base, where it turned out that they had four lives rather than infinite ones, and that Kai had only one left, the same as Scott himself.

Scott, for his part, led them through a hidden tunnel in his base, leading to a room filled with… more people dressed like Jay? Kai wrinkled his nose in distaste.

Kai: “Am I in a nightmare or something?”

Nya: “This is… weird. So weird.”

Cole pointed ahead, where a member of the League of Jay was messing with some kind of controls.

Cole: “Is that a stage?”

Lloyd: “What are they doing…?”

The person at the front cleared their throat, gesturing to the stage.

LoJ Member: “Now presenting the reason for our existence, the culmination of our beings… Superstar Rockin’ Jay!”

The stage floor seems to open up, and from below it in a puff of smoke rises… is that Jay in a disco costume with an electric guitar? All things considered, he looks kind of gorgeous.
