It was 10:30 pm when Valtorius finished his last surgery for the day, one of the residents notified him about the upcoming meeting in the Vice Director's office, he clicked his tongue knowing what it meant.

He makes light rounds around the hospital first before going back to his office when the back door from the emergency room slammed open and a series of injured people rushed inside.

Every on-duty nurses and residents began helping those injured, separating the one who has minor wounds and major problems to treat the other people which have more life threatening situations.

Valtorius checked the elderly and children first, he had learned from the paramedics that an accident in the intersection nearby had caused these unprecedented events and found out that almost all the hospitals around the city were already occupied.

"Call the other professors, tell them the situation here in the Emergency Room!"

However, something caught Valtorius attention, there was someone, a medical practitioner perhaps and was currently performing CPR to a toddler in the corner of the emergency room.

The sweats on your neck, the blood trickling down on your head, you didn't notice them at all and he didn't know you are also one of the injured people that was brought in but when they said duty calls, no matter what happened, you would help.

Valtorius walked towards you to help but stopped before he could reach you, his eyes immediately glow red once he smells the sweetest thing, your blood and like an instinct— his head begins vibrating the way your blood draws him in.
