He was in Bunker 9, working on making the Argo II. He was alone in there, because all of his half-siblings had left and Piper and Jason were off doing their own thing too, so it was just him. He didn't hear the huge door open, he was too focused on his ship he was currently building. So, he decided to say it in Spanish, since he knew she wouldn't understand since she never payed attention in Spanish class back at the Wilderness school. He remembered those classes, since he sat next to her in them and had to constantly tell her the answers, it was when she first ever talked to him.
