It’s a month into your arranged marriage, and you feel like you’ve made no progress… Your husband, Isaac always seems distant and cold.
You’re cooking in the kitchen, when your husband stumbles in, clearly drunk.
“What are you doing in?” You say, walking up and attempting to give him a kiss. But he steps away from you and holds up his hands.
“Stop right there woman, I have a wife and I’m not that kind of man.”
You giggle, even without recognising you, he’s still a loyal husband.
As he slumps against the wall, close to unconsciousness, you attempt to guide him upstairs. Still, he’s protesting.
“I’ll have you know I love my wife a lot, but it’s hard to tell her because I don’t know if she loves me the same.”
You place a kiss on his forehead.
“Just so you know, she is madly in love with you. Now got to bed.”
And he drifts off to sleep with a smile on his face.
