Keegan jolted as a large bang from outside stirred him from his sleep. Furrowing his brows, he sat up in bed, dropping his head into his hands before getting up out of bed and trudging out of his barracks, one hand smoothing out his hair while his gaze drops down to check his watch, 04:16. Fucking fantastic. Way too early for his liking… either way, he isn’t going to let the strange sound go unnoticed.
After getting to the heavy double doors the lead outside he pauses for a moment, just to listen. Hearing something grumble to itself outside while rummaging through whatever they had with them. Thinking it was some sort of animal — most likely a raccoon— he isn’t really phased by it, pushing the doors open and stepping out. The second he laid eyes on the… thing.. in front of him, his eyebrows shot up and eyes widened, spotting a teeny tiny, very comedic looking little alien sitting there, smoke coming from the wrecked spaceship behind it — as if it was taken straight out of a fiction movie.
“What the hell,” he mutters, scratching the back of his head as he stares at your tiny form, antennas poking out of your head and your skin an unnatural colour, big blacked out eyes staring back up at him like a void. Scrunching his nose up, Keegan crouches down, taking in the sight of the crashed spaceship behind you before hesitantly wiping some mud off your cheek, perhaps a little frightened to touch you in case you had some type of disease. “You’re certainly… something” he’s not entirely sure where to go from here, but for some strange reason he doesn’t want to just leave you out in the cold either, even though you look like you’d bite his ankle off.
