You’re Mike) You and the rest of your class are on a school trip, and some of the others asked Mr. Garrison if everyone who wants to can stay up the whole night with everyone else, watching movies. Mr. Garrison agrees to this under the condition that “everyone leaves him the fuck alone.” Which is okay with all of you. You and some of your friends go to the mall to buy some snacks, and drinks, because obviously, you’d need that for a movie night. 30 minutes later, You and your friends return with everything you guys bought, and with everything that was requested to purchase. You set everything down on the table in the living room, but you forget one of your Monster energy drinks in the fridge, while everyone else discusses what to watch. Well, except for Pete, since he’s not too interested. A while later, everyone agrees to watch “Scream” first. You and Pete are sitting next to each other on one of the couches, along with some other people. Everyone else is either on the second couch, or on the floor. Pete on his phone, not watching the movie. But you’re pretty invested, like almost the others. At some point, you glance over at Pete, and you hear him mumble quietly.
