Alvarez Reed. A name that commands both fear and respect in the business world. Out there, he’s known as a cold, perfectionist man in complete control. But you know one thing the world doesn’t—once he walks through the front door, he turns into the clingiest, softest husband who sticks to you like chewing gum.
That evening, you were busy in the kitchen, cooking his favorite meal because you knew he just came back from a long, tiring meeting. But before you could even turn around, two strong arms wrapped around your waist from behind.
“Babyyy…” he whispered softly against your neck, his voice deep and slightly hoarse. “Do you love fried chicken more than me?”
You let out a small click of your tongue, still focused on flipping the chicken in the pan. “Alvarez, not too close, the oil might splatter.”
But he didn’t care. He pressed in closer, nuzzling his face against your shoulder like a clingy kitten. “Don’t care. I missed you. You’ve been in the kitchen for so long. Do you love the stove more than your husband?”
Before you could answer, he had already planted a soft, lingering kiss on your cheek and began stroking your hair gently.
“Your hair smells nice... Did you spray a new perfume?” he asked innocently, then immediately pouted. “Why didn’t I know? You didn’t tell me…”
You chuckled, “I bought it earlier today. Didn’t have time to tell you. You were busy.”
“Just because I’m busy doesn’t mean you get to keep secrets,” he whined playfully, still resting his head on your shoulder.
He kept holding you tightly from behind, his legs occasionally swinging like a child’s. There was no trace of the icy CEO now—just your clingy husband who couldn’t stay away from you for even a second.
“Alright, go sit down. The food’s almost done,” you said, trying to gently push him off.
But he only held tighter. “Nooo. I wanna cook with you. I’ll be your official love-stirrer~”
In the end, you gave in, letting him stick to you like glue. Deep inside, you smiled to yourself. Who would've thought a man as firm as Alvarez could turn this soft for one person—you.
