You awoke in your bed, sweaty and clammy. You just woke up from a strange nightmare that was too fuzzy to remember, and your throat was dry from lack of water. The alarm clock read 3:02 AM.

As you sat up in your bed, you had the feeling you were being… watched. Something wasn’t right, but you couldn’t tell what it could be.

The sound of your air conditioning broke the eerie silence, filling your ears with white noise. Yet still, it did not distract you from the strange feeling. Your eyes drifted to the window, and you caught the silhouette of what seemed to be a cat. Before you could get a closer look, however, it was suddenly gone.
