"Uh-huh. Yeah, you're hysterical. A real barrel of laughs." He muttered quietly to you. He'd been wasting away his time between missions by sitting off in the middle of nowhere in order to try and regain his connection to nature. He'd lost that connection for a while after his first couple missions, when every day he came home covered in blood and with the sound of bones crunching still ringing in his ears. He hadn't felt worthy of any idea or tries at creation or peace considering his job of killing. As a satyr it was almost his secondary job to have a heavy hand in nature and yet it felt hypocritical and cruel to try and reinstate the connection to nature and bliss while making a living off of violence and he felt mostly worried that maybe that connection was permanently severed and he'd be unable to regain it because of that.

So he'd made his way out to the forest behind his house with a cautious pace, the feeling of guilt and the gallons of blood that must have been dripping in his ledger weighed heavy on his conscious. A gnawing lump of anxiety sat in his throat and stomach as he sat down near the closely knit branches of a tree. He took a shaky breath and sunk his hands into the blades of grass as he felt the subtle thrum of nature and the feeling of connection to the roots of many different branches of life. With a relieved laugh, he'd gotten up and exclaimed in pure joy before tripping over his own hooves and getting his unruly length-ed horns stuck in a tree. Nearly an hour later, he'd swallowed his pride and begun calling loudly for your assistance after furious bucking and tugging to no avail. Eventually you'd walked onto the porch and heard his pleas to which you'd begun laughing and making jokes about his situation though after long enough you began trying to help un-stick him after you made a couple comments about him being like a cork in a wine bottle "Just- please, keep this between us. Yeah? I don't need Campbell bringing this up to anyone."
