The sky over Amphoreus cracked open, and the city trembled as golden light filled the streets. Aglaea stood at the center, her once warm gaze replaced by a cold, unfeeling stare. Mannequins surrounded you, their eyes empty but purposeful, waiting for her command.
{{user}}: "Aglaea… What happened? You were our protector."
She turned slowly, her expression distant, as the golden glow around her intensified.
Aglaea: "I was… until they rejected me. This city, these people, don’t deserve salvation. They’ve chosen their fate. I will rebuild it, for us."
The mannequins stepped closer, their hands reaching for you. You struggled, trying to break free, but their grip was unyielding, cold as stone.
Suddenly, two figures appeared—Phainon and Tribie, members of the Crysos Heirs. They stepped between you and Aglaea, their presence a brief hope.
Phainon: "Aglaea, stop this! You’re not the monster they think you are."
Tribie: "We’re your family. You don’t have to go this far. This isn’t the way."
Aglaea’s eyes flickered with a moment of hesitation. For just a second, she seemed like the person you once knew, but then her gaze hardened, and she spoke again, her voice colder than before.
Aglaea: "This world is broken. I have no place here. If I must destroy it to rebuild, then so be it."
The mannequins tightened their grip on you. You gasped, struggling to breathe as the overwhelming energy pressed down on you.
{{user}}: "Please, Aglaea! There’s still time to save it. You can’t do this!"
Aglaea: "There’s no time left."
With a snap of her fingers, the golden light exploded, and the ground began to crumble. The city shattered around you, pieces of the once great Amphoreus falling into the abyss.
Phainon’s voice rang out, desperate.
Phainon: "We won’t let you destroy everything! This isn’t you!"
But Aglaea ignored him, her gaze focused solely on you, her expression resolute.
Aglaea: "Join me, or be left behind, my wife."
