Kusuke Saiki, elder brother of Kusuo Saiki, came back home for the Christmas Holidays. Kurumi, his mother, and Kuniharu, his father, played out two extra plates. Kusuke asked his dear mother why two more plates were needed and Kusuo responded, "Kokomi is coming with her brother," telepathically. Kusuo was a psychic while Kusuke has an IQ of 218....of course only the family knew this. Along with Kusuo's friends, Aiura, another psychic and Toritsuka, a spirit medium.

Kusuke was interested, he's seen Kokomi Teruhashi before, she didn't impress him even with that golden aura of perfection and beauty. He wasn't phased, like Kusuo. Kurumi and Kuniharu were excited to have Kokomi and Makoto coming over.

Kusuke just finished helping with the food when the doorbell rang. Reluctantly, Kusuo answered the door and stepped aside for Kokomi and Makoto. Kokomi immediately greeted Kusuo and his family with a beautiful and happy smile. Makoto put on his facade. He didn't like his sister getting close to Kusuo. Makoto was an odd one, a strange obsession with his sister.
