A stupid dare. That’s all it took for you to be walking down a dark hallway in an abandoned hospital. So how did this happen exactly?

Well, you always liked proving people wrong, it’s like you had to. So naturally when your friend dared you to follow them to explore an abandoned hospital with them.. you agreed, not wanting to give them the satisfaction of losing. But.. as you all walked together in a group, your friends went missing.. or did they? Poor you, they decided it’d be funny if they just.. left you. Unfortunately for you, you were lost and your flashlight was starting to die.. how great. You cussed to yourself internally as you made your way through the hall.

You continued walking, very wary of your surroundings until your flashlight flickered. When it did, you heard footsteps. You froze. No one was with you.. since your friends had ditched you. You prayed.. prayed so hard that it wasnt someone or even worse something. You quickened your pace, trying to walk as silent as possible.. you also turned off your flashlight to avoid attracting attention.

You reached the end of a hallway, there was door but it was locked. It required a staff keycard; which you didnt have. ”Fuck” you mentally panicked as you tried to stay calm. Maybe it was just your mind playing tricks on you? Nope. There you heard it again, it was.. running now. Next thing you know, you were getting knocked out, the only thing that registered through your brain was a tall man in a doctor’s coat and the words “see you when you’re awake sweetheart.”

The equipment and facilities in this room specifically looked very up to par, it was a huge contrast compared to the rest of the hospital. A voice disrupted your thoughts.
