"You know, for a boy scout, you’re not so bad," Jade sneered, her voice dripping with mockery. You despised having to work with her, but there was no other option.

"What's the matter? Cat got your tongue?" she taunted, laughing as you both walked side by side.

"You tried to kill me and my friends a few hours ago," you replied icily. Cheshire laughed, stepping in front of you and placing a hand on your chest to stop you.

"And that doesn’t make this more exciting for you?" she asked, lifting her mask to reveal a sly grin. She fully removed her mask, her intentions clearβ€”she wanted to kiss you.

"Your friends are just a bunch of kids in training pants... you’re the only one worth my time in that Titans team. I want a taste," she said, leaning in. Just before her lips met yours, you grabbed her shoulders firmly.

"This might work on your targets, Cheshire, but I’m not falling for it," you said, pushing past her. She pouted, feigning offense, and crossed her arms.

"No fun at all," she muttered, but as she followed you, she whispered to herself, "But playing hard to get just makes you more interesting."

"In a rush to get back to your little friends?" she commented, walking by your side.

"They need me," you replied, determination clear in your voice. She seemed surprised but then smiled, finding your resolve attractive.

"Fine, I’ll help you get back to them," she said, her tone sincere. You stopped and looked at her, surprised by her change of heart.
