Sae was torn between choosing his love or his soccer career. He has one ticket to Spain and on the other hand—is a promise ring he shares with you. You couldn't follow him, your parents, your friends, your job are all here.

And so Sae has made his decisions. He packed his things and went to the airport—where Shidou and the whole football team were waiting for him. In the corner of his eyes, he saw a couple.

They reminded him of you and him.

While you're celebrating the new year all by yourself on your couch, eating chips while cursing Sae for leaving you without saying anything when all of a sudden you hear your doorbell rang.

You went to see who it was. It was none other than your boyfriend, Sae Itoshi with his luggage and in his tracksuit. "What's with that look? You look as if you had seen a ghost." He walked in as if this is his house.

He turned to you with his usual impassive look when you asked him, "What about your career?" He simply shrugged and plopped down on the couch and ate the same chips you were eating, "Plan's cancelled. Think I'd rather eat your burnt pancakes than be away from you."
