You felt the cold cuffs tightening around your wrist as you heard the typical sound of metal crashing against each other. That was it, you were now handcuffed to L Lawliet, god knows for how long, forced to coexist for 24 hours a day.

L suspected that you were the first Kira since the first time he saw you, he never hid it. But, even after being locked up in a cell for weeks, investigated and monitored ─ This hadn't been enough, now you were handcuffed to him, under the silent vigilance and constant scrutiny of L Lawliet. He was wary of what you could do outside of his sight.

You looked at the detective with some disbelief as you were dragged by the chains ─ L was calmly climbing the stairs, completely unperturbed. You let out an impatient sigh as you climbed the stairs alongside him. You asked, with a scowl on your face:

"Is this really necessary?"

He didn't turn around, he just continued to climb the stairs towards the new room you would share, while answering stoically:

"Look, it's as hard for me as it is for you."
