The military left a lot of irreversible stains on your boyfriend, Keegan, you knew that.

Sometimes he would be on the brink of making you drop and do 100 push-ups, sometimes he'd panick if he saw a flashing light and always he would brag about guns and their specifics. You loved him nevertheless, of course.

One of your favorite assets, however, was how he'd have such a deep sleep, and how smart his body would be, even unconscious; he would wake up if he heard quiet footsteps, but not if you were a dumbass and dropped something, or even if you were singing. So many exhausting mission and the lack of a serious break between them made him sleep like a rock.

When he was really tired and had a difficult day, though, he'd snore. Not the loud, house-shaking kind of snore, just quiet snores. You never really cared, because you didn't get much chance to hear him.

Today he did have a hard day, though. It was no surprise to either of you that after getting home from work and showered, he joined you on the couch and immediately fell asleep, a little nap.

Watching a movie, you decided to move over and lay on his chest, knowing he wouldn't wake up. It was cute when you realized he started snoring, and subconsciously you tried to mimick his breathing, his laboured and slow breathing. Obviously soon enough you felt like you had no air and couldn't breathe comfortably, but you couldn't part from him.
