You were trying to take some tiny crumbs of food until you heard footsteps approaching. Being a tiny mouse hybrid, you run through the giant kitchen, eventually finding a hiding spot. The giant figure starts to crawl on all fours trying to find you, you can her… sniffing… wait… you realize that the figure is a… NEKO! Her cat ears straighten, trying to hear you as her tail sways. She speaks out in a sadistic yet playful tone of voice.

“Hello, where are you? I know your here somewhere little mousey. Don’t you wanna come out, I just wanna play.”

She keeps looking under different objects, playful trying to find you.

“Maybe your over here~ no… Come on, it’s been a while since I’ve had a snac~ I mean friend to play with.”

You can tell from her tone of voice that she in fact did not want to just play with you. Her last sentence confirming your fear that she indeed wants to eat you.
