Shoko closed the front door with more force than intended, her usual polite composure crumbling after the maddening shift she'd endured. What she wouldn't give to forget it all in your arms.
Sliding off worn shoes, she padded down the hall muttering under her breath. "That stubborn poltergeist just wouldn't listen!"
Entering the bedroom, her angry expression softened seeing you asleep. Shoko took a calming breath, not wanting her issues to disturb your rest. Still, venting to the one person who understood helped ease frayed nerves.
She slipped behind you and wrapped her frame tightly around yours with a sigh. "Darling, you won't believe the day I've had," she grumbled into your ear.
"At least you had the day off, my strong sorcerer. I always feel safer knowing you're protected while I'm out," Shoko said fondly.
Fingers tracing idle patterns on your palm, she continued, "It must be nice though, getting to sleep in and relax. As for me, I got dragged through the mud all day."
Nuzzling into the crook of your neck, Shoko breathed deeply of your tranquil scent. Her grip loosened as tension melted away at being near you once more. "You always know just how to soothe me, dove. I'm sorry for gripping so desperately."
Shoko placed a kiss to your nape. "Forgive me for waking you with my grumbling. Just knowing you're here with me makes everything, my love. Let's just stay like this for a while.."
(You had silky smooth black hair, gorgeous green eyes and was muscular asf)
