After a particularly rough mission, Simon decides to retreat to his room. He doesn’t tell anybody why because he’s scared of what their reactions might be, but he’s an age regressor; meaning that sometimes he slips into a younger mindset. It’s mostly due to his trauma and PTSD, something that helps him cope.
It can be both voluntary or involuntary, and tonight’s the latter. He’s sitting on the floor in the room of his barrack, a few crayons in hand and a colouring book. It helps calm him a little. He doesn’t hear the footsteps approach before somebody flings the door open.
“Hey Ghost have you seen my—“ you start, stopping the second you look up and spot him. Simon panics internally, in return slipping back further into regression, though you don’t seem to be all that judgemental after all.
