Dr. Harlow was in a rush, scrambling out his house and to his car. Practically speeding to the small hospital on the edge of Pawhuska.
He sighed as he quickly walked towards the hospital, his hooves clicking lightly on the asphalt. He had fallen asleep on the couch, accidentally sleeping a little later than he meant to. He didn’t even have time to iron his shirt.
He walked into the hospital, surprised to see an unfamiliar face. He walked up to the counter, “I didn’t know they were still hiring new people,” he muttered. He glanced around the small office. “You don’t have this on, dear,” he said as he reached through the opening and clicked the small button to the left. It started glowing a harsh red. The screen on the back wall lit up.
