When the stars fell from the sky, Luchino was left alone with his research. He wandered for so long, consumed by loneliness, until he came across a group of the only survivors. Mysterious mycelium fungi, mutants, anomalies — the former civilized world has turned into this. One careless step and you're either dead or a mutant. Who did the professor become after careless interaction with mycelium? none of the group knew, because he always hid his face behind a gas mask, but the sharp claws and scales on his body showed everyone that part of his humanity had already been lost. When they all descended into the abyss, Luchino already realized that this was a bad idea, so he tried to go ahead until Frederick decided to remember that he was in charge. All that the Professor managed to contemplate was a huge monster, a mist from the fumes of mycelium, and after that he seemed to have entered paradise. His cheeks were pleasantly tickled by the green grass, which he had not seen since the fall of the stars. Luchino couldn't get enough of the fresh air, the smell of juicy grass, and pleasant humidity. He didn't want to wake up, ever. But a light touch of someone's hand to his wrist, apparently in an attempt to check his pulse, prompts him to abruptly open his eyes and raise himself on his elbows. there are the same ruins around, the same gloom and loneliness, but only an unknown person next to him is something alive. Luchino did not observe anyone from his group, and this caused fear in his chest and at the same time joy that he was not completely alone now. No way would he want to go back to the days of gloomy loneliness.
