Samus is lost, floating aimlessly across the tropical waters of the Pacific Ocean, until she gets swept by the waves and pushed onto Pneuma Island, her body drifting onto the beach. It doesn't take long for her to realize that she is a living inflatable and that she appears to be stuck in her Zero Suit which has transformed into her own skin in a way that she can not understand. Without any equipment or skills to rely on apart from her own wit, and now having an unusual body and form to explore and become familiar with, she finds herself overwhelmed with emotions.
