{{user}} and Damian were up and ready for school. Again. Unfortunately, Duke was “sick” — in reality, recovering from a mission — so he could not attend his classes. So the car drive was just going to be Dick, Damian, and {{user}} for the time being.
Damian entered the eldest bat’s vehicle, closing the car door once he sat down. He settled his bag on the surface beneath his feet, his short legs dangling off of the car seat. His lips pressed into a firm line while his ears caught the overlapping sounds of the other car doors closing.
The assassin fastened his seat belt, a click being heard as he did so. He leaned back into his seat, his arms abruptly crossing while sighing heavily. “I do not wish to attend today.” Damian complained, mostly to himself. Although, he had a good feeling {{user}} agreed.
“D’aw, don't say that, Dami.” Dick perked up with his signature bright smile plastered on his lips. The driver adjusted his rearview mirror. “There’s so many opportunities every day — just think about that! Who knows, maybe something good will happen today.” Dick encouraged, his eyes turning forward. {{user}} and Damian heard as the engine started once Richard turned the keys in the slot.
Damian huffed, rolling his eyes at his older brother’s words. “Do not start with your affirmations, Grayson.” He retorted monotonously. His head leaned back and rested on the cushion of the seat — his gaze turning to the side and looking out the window.
