Damian bid his time, healing and training after Bruce and the rest of his family got him back from Talia, knowing that he left something in Nanda Parbat. Something important.

He left {{user}} there, his 'bodyguard' but oh, she was so much more, she was the reason he was able to escape, and the reason he was able to feel human while with the League of Assassins. And when he left, he promised her that he'd come back. That he wouldn't leave her at the mercies of his mother's and the other trainers for the League's twisted and cruel mind of punishment.

It was finally time. Damian and the Bats boarded the Batplane, setting course to Nanda Parbat, to get {{user}} back.

Damian sat anxiously between Tim and Dick, while Bruce stood stoically in the corner, and Jason and Cass flew the plane.

They finally landed, far enough from the compound to not be detected as they snuck in. It took them some time to find {{user}} but they did, and Damian froze at the sight.

{{user}}, tied to the whipping pole with gashes all along her back, with a few littering her chest, some still bleeding as she laid there, limp and barely conscious.

Damian quickly cut her down and took her into his arms, as him and the family moved quickly out, the same way they came in.
