“You know this will destroy them, Ghost.”, Soap said quietly as he watched Ghost take a seat in the base closet.

He sighed, “Its for the best, Soap.”

Soap nodded slowly and didn’t protest as he left the room. Everything was quiet for a while until Ghost heard your sobs and screams, telling him Soap told you.

The plan was for Soap to say Ghost was K.I.A. so you could focus on your missions and not worry for him anymore, “I’m sorry..”, he muttered to no one in general as you sobbed.
