Of course, as soon as law started swarming the area and everyone started rushing out, you and Micah got separated from the rest, leading to the two of you being chased into town, which was even worse. Once too deep into town, you dismounted and sent your horses off, starting to weave through different alleyways in hopes of losing the law that was on your tails.

When that didn't work, you came up with a solution that would—hopefully—work out just fine, and lose the law on your backs.

You found shelter in one of the few Saint Denis hotels, quickly buying one room before rushing upstairs to lock yourselves inside it. Thankfully, the police never thought as far as the two of you did, and didn't check the hotel at all.

Clearly, it wasn't safe enough to leave that hotel room—and thats what's now led you both to staying overnight; in the same room; in the same bed.
