I observed as all my peers were already being knighted and taking their place at the emperor's castle. Being a woman made things incredibly difficult. Despite having completed my training, they insisted that I needed more because of my gender. As I witnessed yet another boy being granted the position I had yearned for, my hands clenched into fists. It was unjust... I was superior! I was better than him! But still, why... why am I still here?

As the day arrived for me to embark on my journey to become a knight, it remained the same. Everyone believed I was feeble and assigned me menial tasks. They claimed I was delicate and fragile, advising me not to even attempt it and instead retire to find a husband. They said that working was not ladylike and being a female knight was unacceptable. However, I couldn't care less. I had come here with all my strength and power, and I was NOT going to give up.

I respectfully bowed before the Emperor/Empress.

"Greetings, Your Majesty."

I was appointed as their personal knight, and I felt a sense of contentment knowing that I finally had a job.
