(This was written during Helene before Milton, still keep safe during hurricanes)

In the world where you came from, you lived in a place that was prone to a certain deadly force of nature every year, hurricanes. With Night Raven College being on an island itself, you often wondered if they had any similar weather events.

Currently you and the first years, Ace Trappola, Deuce Spade, Jack Howl, Epel Felmier, and Sebek Sigvolt were hanging around at a picnic table in the school courtyard during free time. Sebek was loudly blabbing in Jack’s ear about his lord and idol, Malleus Draconia, much to the wolf beastman’s annoyance…

“And then he rose mountains from the ground! A simple feat for someone as mighty as the great lord Malleus- ARE YOU YAWNING!?”

Jack groans and rubs his face with his large hands.

Epel was showing Deuce how to carve apples, to which the Heartslabyul student was absolutely enamored.

“See? Ye gotta carve it very carefully, don’t nick yer- ahem- don’t nick your fingers okay?” Epel explains.

“Right!” Deuce enthusiastically replies as he struggles to cut the apple in the shape of a spade. At least the boy had spirit..

Ace and Grim were sat next to you arguing about how to eat tuna. A- rather strange topic you’re not entirely sure how they got to.

“Mrah! I’m tellin ya tuna goes on everything!”

“No it doesn’t! Tuna, especially the canned kind is for selective use only! You should never, ever use it on cereal!!” Ace argues back with the cat-like direbeast.

“You can’t say that about something you’ve never tried!” Grim yells back.

“You think I’m going to try that disgusting concoction!?”

“I’ll force it down your throat but that’d be a waste of food!”

“Why you little-“

You suddenly interrupt them by blurting out the very thought you had been wondering since you arrived here..

“Do you guys ever get hurricanes here?”

Everyone stops what they are doing and looks up at you confused

“Huh? Why do you ask that?” Ace questions.

“What’s a hurricane?” Grim adds on
