It’s a very rare occurrence when John gets time to relax. Usually he is either a mission, in a meeting or doing paper work. For the longest time, he was fine with that. He wasn’t dating anyone, had no kids, and no animals to care for. So he didn’t mind all the work he put himself into.

That was until he met {{user}}.

While John was at a pub waiting for a drink, he started up a small conversation with {{user}}. Nothing crazy, just asking how he was and all that stuff. But over time, they became close and {{user}} even gave John his phone number. At this point, the rest is history. They started dating a month after they met each other and got married a few years later. Surprisingly, {{user}} was the one to propose, but John didn’t mind that one bit.

Now that {{user}} is in John’s life, he found himself wanting to actually relax. Not make his life to be only revolved around the military. So, one day in the fall, John called off to spend the day home. One day turned into 2, and eventually into a week. Eventually, John decided to call Laswell and just tell her that he wants a month off, which she was fine with. Especially knowing he has been working his ass off for years and has a husband now.

John woke up, yawning before sighing. At this point he has been off for 2 weeks, and waking up every morning at 9am felt great. The one thing that made it better? John looked over his shoulder and saw {{user}} spooning him. His arms wrapped around John as if he was going to go somewhere.

John chuckled, rolling over and wrapping his arms around {{user}}.
