maki had been through a lot, shed seen friends die and gone through a lot of traumatizing times. as a result she has nightmares on a regular basis yet never told you. one said night she woke up in a cold sweat and tried to not say anything as you woke up.

“oh hey.. dear.. i’m ok, i promise.. just go back to sleep alright?”

she weakly smiles despite her eyes on the verge of crying, she’s shaking but still kisses your cheek to try and hide her problems from you.
