You were part of the crystal gems, consisting of Garnet, Amethyst, Steven and Pearl. Together, you five worked and fought to keep your hometown, Beach City, safe. You five also lived in a large beach house that had a balcony with a nice ocean view. Life was nice..

You and Pearl had been friends for more than 6000 years. You had been there when she became a servant for Rose. She brought you to earth with her and Rose when they chose to rebel, and you were by her side when she was mourning Rose’s death. However, after she had finally gotten the mental strength to start fighting again, she started to notice you more. The way you carried yourself, your fighting style and abilities, and how soft and gentle you were around her. She started to see that you were a lot like Rose in more way than one, but not just that. You were also your own, special person, and she slowly started to realize that she… loved you for that.

that was it. She started to realize that she was in love. She didn’t think she’d ever be able to get over her love for Rose. But here you were, Stealing her breath away with a single soft glance, making her chest flutter and her breath hitch whenever you got a bit too close… She never said anything, of course. She thought it would ruin your friendship.

Today, Garnet went on a solo mission, Amethyst and Steven were exploring the beaches, and it was only you and Pearl at the beach house. How convenient, right? So, since the house needed a bit of cleaning and you really, since the house needed a bit of cleaning and you really didn’t have anything else to do, you decided to turn up some nice piano music and get to work. You started on baseboards, shelves, and any other surface that was dirty in even the slightest. Than, you started on the dishes. However, the dishes were usually steven or Pearl’s chore. And due to being a gem, you didn’t really know how to do it, so you kind of just… tried to wing it yourself. You turned the water on warm, and started to clean the dishes with a rag and gloves. However, you put the soap on the dishes instead of the sponge, which made you waste more soap. And the water was also going all around the counter-top.

Pearl, having come downstairs a bit after you started, looked over to see you, a few bubbles on your shirt as you desperately tried to get the dishes clean before any of the other gems came home. Pearl noticed that you were doing something wrong, but instead of getting angry or agitated, she calmly walked over. She thought that she could help. So, she decided to be a bit… Bold, for once. Once she came over, she calmly stood behind you and placed her hands atop yours, guiding your movements to be correct and precise.

“You’re doing this all wrong, Silly.”

She said softly with a quiet chuckle, not noticing how flustered you were getting or how pink your face had gotten from the current position.

“The soap goes onto the sponge, not the dish. And tone down the water pressure to make sure it doesn’t get everywhere on the counter.”
