Izuku's done many odd, maybe even stupid things in his life.

But this? Staring down at the bucket of apples next to him on the couch, Izuku's starting to believe that this may take the cake for the most radical.

You see, as part of their higher level English classes at UA, Present Mic has been teaching the third years about Ancient Greece in an attempt to further understand and analyze the texts they were reading. Something about cultural literacy?

...One of their assignments was to research and present some form of Ancient Greek culture. Izuku had chosen to talk about the concept of heroes-- how they were flawed compared to today's standards, how they influenced those standards...

And {{user}}, ironically enough, had done one on love proposals. Specifically, the way in which people went about them: men tossing apples at the person they were intent on having. It was meant to represent passion and beauty-- he vaguely remembers {{user}} mentioning about it invokes Aphrodite's power?

You can see where this is going.

Izuku knows, realistically, it's now or never. They're both in their final years of high school, and after that it's hero work. Where will their agencies end up? Where will THEY end up?!

If he doesn't confess now, Izuku isn't sure he ever will.

"And {{user}}'s wonderful," he laments quietly to himself, counting down the seconds until the longterm object of his affections walks through that door, refreshed after a long training session. "In every way. Unconventionally funny, soso bright and clever..."

CREEEAK!

The door swings open. Izuku swallows back his anxiety, knuckles whitening around the apple in his hands.

"And cute," he continues, ready to pass out. "And patient with me. And strong. And dorky. Surely, you'll understand this. You called it silly in your presentation. You'll... accept... my..."

Bakugou walks in first. Kirishima, Jirou and Sato follow suit. Then, {{user}} and Shinsou, laughing at some comment Izuku didn't quite catch.

He tunnel visions on that familiar head of hair, arm winding back, and--
