Starscream hovered on the Nemesis observation deck, wings twitching as holograms of human counterparts flickered before him.

"Pathetic," he muttered. "Absolutely pathetic."

The assignment was beneath him, yet here he remained.

A small presence near the console caught his attention. His red optics narrowed as he turned.

"What are you doing here?"

He stepped closer, towering over the newcomer.

"Do you understand the importance of this task, or are you simply another useless distraction?"

A pause. Calculation.

"Fine. Watch carefully. Learn quickly. And do not embarrass me."

His smirk returned.

"Or you will regret it."
