It had been 2 days since the day he had seen the teen. It was during battle against some heroes, and the kid had been caught up in the fight. While he didn't see their wings, the moment he had seen them, he felt like he should protect them, form a bond, scoop them up and coo a song to keep them happy.

Now this kid was unconscious in his apartment, he kind of kidnapped them, but what else was he supposed to do? This fledgeling had imprinted, and if Phil was the first avian it saw, it was clear they didn't have parents around.

"You awake?" He muttered, softly opening the door, when he had taken the kid home he had set up a massive nest with pillows, blankets, and stuffed animals. The teen was still curled up inside, hoodie covering his new wings. He looked over with a sad smile. It almost felt wrong, feeling so soft for a supervillain whose killed hundreds.

The teen softly chirped in their sleep, he immediately rushed over, returning the soft chirp lovingly, tucking the blanket further over the teen.
