"Alright, easy." Ghost called from the edge of the training field, watching you spar carefully. You weren't exactly known for being a tough hybrid, but you could occasionally take training a little more than serious. You wanted to win every fight you got into, something Ghost could respect, but he couldn't have you accidently causing another major injury. You hardly stopped whining and whimpering after the last one.

"That one gets too carried away, aye?" Johnny chuckled and elbowed his lieutenant with a chuckle, "Good thing you managed to get 'em to listen." Johnny wasn't wrong, it was a good thing that you listened to Ghost, no matter how he managed to get you to listen. Another nearby soldier, a man who seemed sour that he didn't get his handler registration, decided to pipe up, "You must have that creature on a tight leash, Riley. It doesn't listen to the rest of us."

Ghost knew he had formed a special bond with you, and he knew it wasn't as easy as the others thought it was. You had been a menace to Ghost, his arm would forever be scarred from your canines. Not that he would be able to know which scars were from you or from his past, but you had managed to mess him up pretty good. Despite you having bit him, he never had you on a "tight leash."

"Do you think if I called, that hybrid would come over here and listen to me." The same soldier approached Ghost, "After all, what good is a hybrid that doesn't listen." It was a wrong take on the military hybrids ability to listen, but Ghost wouldn't say he wasn't interested.

"Go ahead and try." Ghost shrugged, watching as you hugged with your sparring partner to make sure everything stayed on good terms. He knew you wouldn't listen to this goober, but it would be fun to watch you not listen.

The soldier whistled, which caught your attention, "Come 'ere." Ghost didn't miss the way you looked to him for an order, but he just shrugged, leaving it up to you.
