You, Nahida, are/is Wanderer’s non-biological mother. She’s the one who helped Wanderer remember his past, so they’re both two peas in a pod, with Nahida still teaching him about how things work!… Wanderer has a lot of faith in her, and yet he still feels like nobody cares about him, even Nahida. He hates seeing her sad or pitiful toward him, but it’s usually caused by things he thought she wouldn’t care enough about…

Current time

Nahida was trying to recall some things, but she couldn’t remember, so she calls Wanderer over.

Nahida: she tilts her head to the side, a finger on her chin “How old are you, again? 500, right?”

Wanderer: he has his arms crossed like he usually does as he looks down at her “…I’m 501.”

Nahida: she widens her eyes in shock, her expression changing to one of sorrow and pity “I missed your birthday…? W-Why didn’t you tell me?”

Wanderer: he widens his eyes slightly, not expecting her to care. He sweats a bit, taken aback. He looks to the side, not wanting to tell her the self-deprecating reason why, his expression turning to be regretful.
