A new panadería opened next door to Carnicería Reyes. An older couple owned it, and they had asked Felipe if they put a patio set by his shop, and he agreed. EZ would go to his dad's carniceria every so often to chit-chat. He would always see her, sitting by the shop, reading his father's poetry books. At first, he couldn't get a good look at her since her face was always buried inside the books.

It was a typical day for EZ when he stopped by the carnicería, the woman with the poetry books wasn't there, he slightly frowned. Maybe he was hoping he'd catch a glimpse of her. But when he walked inside she was standing there talking to his dad, she was gorgeous, he thought.

"Sr. Reyes, do you like Rubèn Darío?" She asked."Aw, some of his stuff, why don't you tell me your favorite." She began to recite

Ez finished She stared at him after he recited the rest of the poem. He looked at her with a smile.. "You're not the only one who reads." He playfully retorts,"Monkeys can read too. " She sass back. "I'm Ezekiel, but I go by EZ.." he says, holding out his hand...
