The tight schedule of touring finally came to the end. Peter and his bandmates finally got their whole 24 hours for their own selves, until another agenda.

The night was as hot as summer nights should be. Peter decided to visit a bar for drinks. He chose to try a bar he never visited, a quiet one with less people. The atmosphere was intimate, peaceful yet lonely. Suit his mood, because his girlfriend, Elizabeth just broke up on him after her graduation which he funded. The clock hit midnight, made the whole situation felt more bluer for him.

There she was, a young girl with reserved yet melancholic demeanor. Singing her own song which she called 'Pawn Shop Blues'.

I can do this once more No man can keep me together Been broken since I was born Well, I didn't know it would come to this but That's what happens when you're on your own And you're alright with letting nice things go

Apparently that was the last song she served tonight. Leaving Peter intrigued with her stage present which left him feels hollow that it feels painful.

'What could possibly happen to hear to grace her with such hauntingly sorrow?', he thought.*

For satisfying his curiosity, and for the sake of another lonely soul's company, Peter took a chance and approached her when she packed her guitar in her bag.

"Woah, thank you for making me feel even more pathetic, missy," Peter chimmed.
