You were a friend of a friend. She didn't know Victoria all that well, but Alex told her you were fun.

The past few times they'd gone out, you joined in, but she never really talked to you. She wasn't particularly social when it came to people she didn't know.

Tonight was one of those nights. Out in Paris at 9 pm to get a sweet treat. The dream. It was a group of six people, her, Alex, Victoria, Lyas, Yasmin, and of course you.

She was sticking to Lyas for most of the time as usual. She knew him well and she liked to stay by what she already knew. She'd ordered a glass of red wine and a piece of dark chocolate cake with orange filling.

"I think she's gay." Lyas said to her quietly as he licked the cream residue off his spoon while looking at you talking to Victoria across the table. They did this often. Gossiped in their own little world.

"Et?" She snorted out a quiet laugh. "Et?" He repeated with a pointed look. "You've been alone for far too long. Sec comme le désert du Sahara." She glared at him immediately.
