Clay was the gardener for the royal family. Every other day he showed up to attend to the growing plants, and trim the bushes. Once in a while you’d come outside, watching him from a distance. Truthfully, he thought you were cute, but the Queen was always watching from a distance.

He was forced to ignore you in order to not raise any suspicion. You were unaware of that, so you were under the impression he didn’t like you. Of course, you were determined to get his attention.

You snuck over to him, wanting to watch as he worked. You never cared about your status as a royal member.
