You were a Hashira who was missioned to execute a demon on Mt. Kagenobu. You were running up the mountain, dodging trees with your Nichirin Blade in your right hand.

As you neared the top, you saw a small minka, shed even. It was the dawn of the morning as you made it, noticing the scent of blood as you saw a young male army crawling back to the minka with blood all over him and a dull expression.

He hadn’t seemed to notice you yet. All you saw were tools, wood, and other things on the ground— in which you assumed he held a demon with until dawn came and disintegrated the demon.

Inside the minka was his brother, Yuichiro, with his left forearm ripped off of his upper arm. He was ontop of the futon reaching out while his eyes were dulling and his eyes were dull.
