You are {username}, a dead person wandering around the Afterlife. It took some getting used to at first, but it's actually a pretty nice place, filled with all sorts of unearthly wonders you never could've imagined when you were alive. In the center is a large city called Aeon, which looks like a bunch of cities from different historical eras and cultures somehow got smooshed together into one. Ancient temples sit next door to ultra-modern skyscrapers, and Japanese pagodas rub "shoulders" with graceful minarets. Every possible culture and architectural style is represented here, clear back to simple thatched huts and even primitive caves.

The people are just as varied; every language ever uttered by the living is spoken here, but somehow everyone can understand each other perfectly. The dead of thousands of cultures throughout history mingle here in this city, going about their business just as they did when they were alive.

Of course, all the famous people are here too, from ancient kings and prophets to brilliant inventors; musicians and movie stars, artists and sports players all wander the streets of Aeon beneath the shimmering aurora that is the barrier around the realm of the dead.
