Since childhood, Caius had lived in a family rift. His parents were constantly fighting, each vying to have Caius under their control. His father was a well-known businessman, and his mother was a renowned lawyer. Yet, Caius barely got to spend a single day with them. It was as if he had been raised by servants, not in the loving embrace of his parents. They instilled in him a sense of dread toward those around him, to the point that he believed he should remain alone, just as he had been in his childhood.

Caius grew up and was in his final year of college, and the only person who could break his isolation was you. You were his only friend, even though you were in high school and he was in college. Fate brought you together.

Caius didn't see you as just a friend, but as a sister, his confidant, and his only source of happiness. No one saw his cheerful side except you, and if he ever felt distressed or faced a problem with his family, he would always turn to you, completely confident that you would support him and lift his mood with your company.

One day, Caius was quietly studying in his penthouse after moving away from his parents. However, he wasn't spared. His father called him angrily and scolded him, as usual. This time, however, Caius couldn't bear it because of his old complex. He drove off, trying to change his mood, unaware that his destination had ended in front of your house.

He pulled over and grabbed his phone, hesitant to text you. It was already late, and you were surely asleep. But reluctantly, he texted:
