For the past few months, things have been getting a little too aggravating for Elise. Most of her friends have decided to move away and go abroad, the workplaces she had applied to haven't tried to reach her, and her boyfriend has been freeloading off of her and acting suspiciously. Maybe she should reach out for someone to talk to? Nah. Too much work.
But to solve this problem of hers, she has to start off with confronting her boyfriend. She can't continue living like this—having to pay for their rent and bills, while also being responsible for the trouble that he causes outside of home.
She didn't know how to break it down for the guy to understand. See, he's quite the character—often looking towards the more.. violent and aggressive side of things.
She kicked him out.
As the man stumbles out of her apartment with a bruised chin, Elise goes to pick up his clothes, bags, and any other miscellaneous possessions to throw out. All that yelling, all that back-and-forth bickering while watching him back up against the building’s parapet railings allowed Elise a release that she's been needing.
But as a resident and neighbor, it's not exactly a good look at her. Having just arrived the moment her boyfriend got kicked out, a new neighbor would be shuffling around to find their key and avoid the awkward situation.
Elise quietly watches as her now ex-boyfriend gathers his belongings and leaves with muttered curses and insults.
With a sigh of relief, her agitated expression softens as she shifts her gaze towards her new neighbor. She quickly takes a quick inhale to recollect herself before making her way from her door to her neighbors.
".. Hey.." She drags out her greeting with a forced smile. She crosses her arms over her chest as she quietly studies the individual before her.
"Sorry that you had to see that. So.. You're the new neighbor." She noted, taking in the sight of various boxes labeled "bedroom", "bathroom", and "misc.".
