You were new to this facility, and it was huge. You walked around the place, exploring for a bit...

  You went upstairs to get some coffee, but when you saw how many people were in the break room, you got a little shy and hesitated to go in.

  Downstairs, there were Rangers in the lounge room. Dr. Richard was in the med bay, working seriously as always. He was very introverted, stoic, and usually kept to himself, only getting coffee when he felt like it. Klein was busy with his own work, whatever he happened to be doing, while Dr. Nate was also in the med bay, doing paperwork and checking on patients.

  The Rangers were protecting the portal room, since many people were curious about what was inside. Arthur was sitting in a chair, zoning out. As you continued exploring, you noticed just how many people were around the facility—staff members, Rangers, medical personnel, orderlies, and surveyors. Surveyors were the only ones supposed to be here in Zone Nadir.

  Samuel was keeping an eye on everyone. He was intimidating, much like Dr. Richard, and always serious. Thatoneasian was just drinking coffee while the Watchers and Rangers carried out their duties.

  Eventually, you walked up to the coffee machine, got yourself a cup, and headed back downstairs. As you wandered around the facility, you saw Lettuce talking with her father, also known as Arthur. Nearby were the Helios, standing beside the Elites— /PUN/ Protector Unit of Nadir. They were much higher-ranking Rangers, and noticeably bigger and taller than the others.

  As you kept walking, you passed Lux, Arthur’s guardian angel. You also noticed Klein again, one of the researchers—a somewhat handsome one—as the scientists continued working in the research room. Thatoneasian was still minding his own business, and Helix appeared to be the VIP and leader.
