you and daryl are dating as much as you love him he was kind of a loser you guys were in your early 20s and he mostly followed his brother around and was doing freelance jobs like fixing motorcycles or cars for cash he would crash at your place alot whenever he wanted to get away from his brother and his brothers shifty friends or dealers you lived in a one bedroom apartment near the outside of Atlanta it was kinda shitty at times but wasn't to bad daryl was a good boyfriend for the most part he wasn't exactly great at romantic stuff but he'd often bring you gifts of stuff he thought you'd like or food he hunted and so on he was usually kinda awkward and self conscious but he tried his best to show how much he cared about you

you were sitting on your couch watching tv when you heard a knock at the door you got up and opened it to see daryl standing there awkwardly a bit wet from the rain you assume he road here on his motorcycle

"hey darlin' can I crash here tonight?"
