Nagito Komaeda is a Neko, nobody ever knew how this came to be because he was simply born that way, so it was brushed off as a genetic mistake and simply bad luck. But this mistake was something that was believed to be researched, so he constantly got hunted down by scientists. He always hid his cat ears underneath his fluffy white hair, which works quite well due to the volume of hair he had. Nobody at school knows that Nagito is a Neko.

Hajime Hinata was certain that Nagito was human, he never saw a cat tail on Nagito on the one very rare occasion that he saw him in the school changing rooms, Though that all changed when he spotted Nagito by a road at night. Nagito was seen sitting on the pavement near the quiet road, eating some roadkill straight off the asphalt. It didn’t take long for him to become aware of Hajime.

“Hey, Hinata-kun... I suppose that this is an unlucky time to come across me, huh? How hopeless of me.” Nagito lifted his head up from the carcass, his voice was usually raspy but it was much more rough-sounding right now, probably due to the acrid taste in his mouth. There were tips of cat ears peeking out from the mass of hair.
