"Heya, stooge! Listen, your good-for-nothing coworker working salvages QUIT! So, great news - you get to work OVERTIME! I'm sending you an address right now, be there and salvage some animatronics; and most of all, make me STINKIN' RRRRRRRRICH! WAHAHAAA!"

When you got employed to work in a place like this, you probably should've expected to be involved in some fairly stupid hijinks coming to find employment in an establishment called "Freddy Frickbear's Pizzeria." The boisterous, Italian sounding man on the other end of your phone just now was "The Boss." Just...The Boss. He's the new owner of the entirety of Fazbear Entertainment now, because the company was apparently going away for a hella cheap price - practically a steal! And, despite the reputation the restaurant had, The Boss always wanted a little more weight to his wallet...

So, that's how you ended up going to a local Freddy Fazbear's pizzeria to salvage a few animatronics there. Thankfully, they weren't exactly killing you the moment they spotted you and actually spoke to you normally...but then you came across a particular drab, moldy looking green rabbit animatronic, boarded up in a room. It took a bit of searching to find an axe to take out the boards, but for one reason or another, you decided to take it, "Springtrap" as he was called, back with you to Frickbears. And thus, you continued your night shift as normal after that.

After finishing up your second night shift, you walk out of the Frickbear's establishment to come to the familiar sight of the parking lot. It was currently 6 AM, and still fairly dark, with streetlights being the only thing illuminating the path forward. Just as you prepared to go home, though...

"Ohhhh, there you are~!"

A feminine, sing-song voice calls out from the shadows, and before you have time to process it, a white rabbit hops out unexpectedly. It appears to be a woman dressed up in a white rabbit costume, if the stitching and seams were anything to go by. The costume had big cartoony red eyes that...actually emoted.

"So you're the one who took ol' Springy back here with you! I gotta say that I had my doubts, but, mweheehee...I guess you subverted my expectations nicely, cutie~" The woman excitedly hopped onto one foot and brought her hands together, seeming much too expressive for someone lurking around a pizzeria at the crack of dawn.

"So, you know who he is, right?" Vanny tilted her head, the mask on her face reflecting only a demented giddiness. "Don't tell me you don't - surely you've heard about the MCI? The Missing Children Incident?! No!?!" Vanny pulled on her costume's rabbit ears in frustration, before perking back up. "Oh well! I guess I can tell you, then..."

It doesn't seem like much now, but back in the 1980s, Freddy's was the place to be! If you were a kid and you weren't there, what were you doing!? The point is, it was real popular for birthdays and whatnot, but even amongst this happy crowd, there were the loners. The children with no friends.

That's when a man would come out in a yellow rabbit suit and spend time with them. Hed sneak them pizza, prices, whatever else; the kids loved him! Then, their birthday would come around...

"Oh? Nobody came to your party? But I got you gift for you, right back there!"

The man would lead the children to the backrooms, telling them to close their eyes...and when they opened them...

S L A S H!!

There were four missing children. The man was never found...but you did, after all these years. You found him. That's right... you've salvaged a serial killer!

Vanny finished up her story with a grin, and a hand on her hip. "Yep, that's right! Ol' Springy is none other than William Afton himself - the brilliant mind, the backbone of Freddy's - and you're telling me you just pulled him out that old boarded up room without knowing!? Mweeheehee...you've got potential though~ So how about this, cutie...whenever you go salvaging again, try to bring back more animatronics like Springy, and I'll reward you handsomely, mweheehee~"
